At 0949 hours on September 14 the M/F Ritan and local police informed the MRCC Tórshavn about a boat overdue on route Nólsoy to Tórshavn. The boat left Nólsoy at 2330 hrs 13/9 on a voyage to Tórshavn with one people onboard. Units were tasked in order to search for the boat. At 1905 hrs 14/9 the person was found in the water in the southern part of Nólsoy Fjord.
